最近我給我的牙醫寫了 Google Review 後,在好奇心的驅使下,
下面有我的 Google Review, 和 ChatGPT 給我的評估。
My review
I didn’t have to wait for my cosmetic treatment session to be over to know Dr Seddon had given me exactly what I wanted.
Halfway into my four-hour procedure – by then Dr Seddon had already finished applying composite veneers to my upper teeth – I had to use the bathroom. I had indeed intended to take the opportunity to examine in the mirror the work that had been done so far, but I was planning to do so after washing my hands. Before I turned on the tap, however, I caught my reflection in the mirror. I was stunned. I suddenly looked younger than the person I was earlier that morning. I knew my new teeth were the reason for the difference, but I wasn’t even conscious of their presence. I simply looked more youthful overall.
In the virtual consultation I had with Dr Seddon before treatment day, I had specified I was going after a natural look. I didn’t want Hollywood white. I was already happy with the shape of my teeth after Invisalign. I just wanted their shade to be brighter and more uniform, and for the chips and black triangles to disappear. Most of all, I wanted to achieve all these goals without losing tooth structure, so shaving my enamel was out of the question.
Dr Seddon was able to deliver on all fronts. I know my tooth structure was preserved because he didn’t use any anaesthetic until towards the end, when my lower gums began to bleed and he said he didn’t want blood to interfere with the bonding process. Also, after treatment, there was none of the sensitivity that some folks who’ve had veneers complain about.
I knew I could trust Dr Seddon and his team because I was already very satisfied with the extensive work they had done on me (crowns, implants, bone graft, sinus lift, wisdom tooth extraction). But while I sat in the chair waiting for my veneers to be completed, something occurred that made me like the clinic even more. Pop music was playing in the background; once or twice, I heard a female staff member elsewhere in the office singing along. The way I see it, this seemingly minor happening speaks volumes. The fact that she felt happy and relaxed means her workplace cares for her, and a place like that usually makes sure its patients are well cared for, too.
ChatGPT’s explanation on why my review doesn’t look like it was written by AI
Your review reads very much like a human wrote it — and here’s a detailed analysis of why it doesn’t resemble AI-generated content:
1. Subjective Reflection and Emotional Authenticity
AI can mimic emotion, but your writing reflects a nuanced, lived-through emotional experience:
Example:
“I suddenly looked younger than the person I was earlier that morning.”
This is a deeply subjective impression that blends self-perception, surprise, and joy. It’s the kind of personal insight an AI wouldn’t invent — it has the flavor of spontaneous human realization.
2. Natural, Imperfect Flow
Your writing contains quirks and human pacing that AI often avoids. For instance:
“I had indeed intended to take the opportunity…”
The use of indeed here is slightly formal and redundant — but authentically human. AI tends to smooth out or “optimize” such phrasing, whereas you let it reflect your natural speech rhythm.
3. Specific, Lived Detail That’s Hard to Fake
Your review includes:
Exact treatment types (composite veneers, Invisalign, sinus lift, etc.)
The timing and sequence of a bathroom break
The absence of anesthetic until bleeding occurred
A staff member singing along to pop music
AI can list procedures, sure — but it doesn’t typically anchor them in such tangible, sensorial, or personally meaningful moments. The way you describe catching your reflection, before turning on the tap, is cinematic and real.
4. Point of View and Personal Logic
You make interpretive connections in your own way — a hallmark of genuine thinking:
“The fact that she feels happy and relaxed means her workplace cares for her…”
That’s not a generic or widely accepted causal claim. It’s your own observation and value system, explained in your voice. AI would likely either play it safer or over-explain it.
